Creating, scheduling, and sharing social posts

Once your social media accounts are connected, it's time to start creating and sharing posts. When you create a post, you get to pick the social media profiles you want to share it on, and you can even customize the same post for different platforms. We've even added the ability to shorten URLs, use hashtags, and include multiple images in each post, and connect your Vimeo account to add videos to the post depending on the social platform. When you're ready to schedule, you also get to pick the date and time to set your post live.

There are lots of different ways to create a social post. Access the editor from the:

  • Social tab - This is the hub of your social media marketing, where you can create posts, manage responses, and review your analytics all in one place! Click the Create button to get started.
  • Campaigns Calendar - If you need to schedule several posts in advance, and if you want them to coincide with specific emails or events, the Campaigns Calendar is a great option. You can review all of your drafts, scheduled, published, and completed campaigns as well as create the corresponding social posts accordingly. Click on any date on the calendar to get started.
  • Email Details page - After you send an email, it's easy to share the email's URL in a social post when you visit the Email Details page. You're not limited to just sharing emails though - create any kind of post content you want! Click the Share button to get started.

Every post you make can be accessed from the Marketing Channels > Social posts tab.

Just click the Posts tab to review all your published posts and drafts, no matter where you created them originally. You can even copy posts to save time creating new ones!

Sharing Email campaigns

We've always had the option to share emails on social media after you've sent them, but we've made improvements! After you share your campaign, you can now:

  • View and respond to comments for all of your Facebook and Instagram posts from the Social > Inbox tab.
  • Access and manage all of your shared posts and drafts from the Social > Posts tab. You can also view and respond to comments on LinkedIn by clicking on the post and then directly accessing your account from the Social Post Details page.
  • Compare post performance across different social networks and view audience growth data from the Social > Analytics tab.
  • Connect and manage your connected social accounts through the Social > Accounts tab. There are more social account options than ever before!

Even though we've moved everything under a dedicated Social tab and added more features, if you share an email or an event, you can still view the social post results on the Email Details page, just as you always could.

Sharing landing pages

We offer a variety of Custom, Sign-up, and Survey landing pages that you can share on your social media platforms through a social post. When you create a social post through the Landing Page Details Page, the post automatically includes the URL for your landing page—you can even shorten it.

The URL shortener within a social post is even handy for when you want to feature your Sign-up Landing Page or Social Profile Landing Page directly in your social profile or bio, when space is at a premium.

Viewing social post results and monitoring the conversation

After you've shared your post, it's time to see how it performed. Our improved reporting gives you lots of features to help you stay engaged with your audience and monitor your performance too.

  • Review individual post performance - By checking the Social Post Details page for each post, you see a breakdown of impressions, reach, engagement, comments, shares, and reactions/likes/favorites by social network: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • View and respond to Facebook and Instagram posts - When someone comments on your Facebook or Instagram post, you can find it in the Social > Inbox tab. From there you can respond to each comment by clicking on the "reply" button.
  • View and respond to LinkedIn comments - When someone comments or interacts with your social post on LinkedIn, you can see a count from the Social > Posts tab. From there you can open the Post Details Page and directly access your LinkedIn account to respond to each comment.
  • Gage your audience growth over time - From the Social > Analytics tab, you can select the social profiles you want to compare and then choose a timeframe between the last 7, 30, and 90 days. You can even download your results in lots of different formats, like PNG, PDF, and CSV. When you reach 100+ social media followers, location and demographic information for your followers becomes available too!
