Your social accounts can sometimes become disconnected from your Constant Contact account. Sometimes the social platform needs you to update your permissions, or can invalidate token connections if you haven't used them in awhile. It can also happen if you remove the Constant Contact app from your social media account, but don't disconnect the account from your Constant Contact account.
There are two easy ways to fix the error:
![]() | Did you know? You don't need to have your accounts connected to create and save a draft of your social post. Once your accounts are connected, you're able to create variations for different social profiles and then share the post. |
If you want to keep using the social account. You're prompted to log back into your account and re-establish the connection. This lets you use the account to create Social Posts and, if you're repairing a Facebook connection, create Facebook and Instagram Ads and Lead Ads.
If you want to remove your social account from Constant Contact. This prevents you from creating and monitoring Social Posts for this account, and if you're removing a Facebook account, prevents you from creating Facebook and Instagram Ads or Lead Ads.
