View the post results for an email shared on social media

Check the reporting for an email shared on social media through a Social Post

After you've shared your email on social media, it's time to check how the post is performing and start to engage with any questions and comments your friends and followers are making.

 


View your shared email from the Social tab

From the Posts tab, you can find the Social Post you shared, and then open the Email Details page for the email you shared, to dive further into your email reporting
 

  1. Click Marketing channels ...> Social posts


     
  2. Click Posts.
  3. (optional) Narrow your search by selecting "Posted" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Next to the posted post, click ... > View shared campaign


     

Alternatively, if you want to first view the Post Details page for the shared post before you view the Email Details page, you can click ... > Details and then click ... > View shared campaign in the upper right-hand corner.

View your shared email from the Campaigns tab

From the List View tab, you can open the Email Details page for the email you shared in a Social Post, and then dive further into your post reporting.

  1. Click Marketing channels ... > All Campaigns.


     
  2. Click the Single-Channel tab.
  3. To help narrow your search:
  • Select "Emails" from the Campaigns drop-down menu.
  • Select "Sent" or "Scheduled" from the Status drop-down menu.
  • Select an option from the Sort By drop-down menu.
  1. Next to your email, click ... > Details


     
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. In the Social Share section, you can review the overall post performance:
  • Impressions - Each time an individual Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn user sees your post, it's counted as an impression. 
  • Reach - This is the total number of unique Facebook and Instagram users who have seen your post, including your immediate audience and anyone they've shared it with. Reach information isn't available for LinkedIn.
  • Engagements - The number of times Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn users have liked or reacted to your post, shared your post with their friends and followers, or commented on your post.

Clicking on the hyperlinked name of the post or any of the stats below it brings you to the Social Post Details page where you can review a more in-depth breakdown of the post performance on Facebook and Instagram, or LinkedIn.
