Setting Campaign Tags

Assign tags to your campaigns, edit them as needed, and view them within the Campaigns page

Assigning tags to campaigns allows you to group campaigns together of a similar type. When building a custom campaign report, filter by a specific tag or tags, in order to measure the performance of multiple related campaigns.

This article will provide information on viewing and managing campaign tags.

Adding Tags to Campaigns 

When adding tags to campaigns, it cannot be done through the Tag Manager and must instead be done through individual campaigns.

When creating or editing a campaign:

  1. In the General Information section, select the desired campaign tag from the Tags drop-down menu.
    Note: To create additional tags, click Manage Tags to open the Tag Manager. You will be able to create campaign tags there.
  2. Configure the rest of the campaign as desired and click Save Changes.

Editing Campaign Tags 

There may come a time when you need to edit the campaign's tags. Campaigns can be edited and saved as necessary.

To edit campaign tags, do the following:

  1. Click Campaigns > Campaigns in the left toolbar.

  2. Hover over the desired campaign and click  12pencil.png  Edit.

  3. Scroll to the General Information section and add or remove tags from the Tags drop-down menu.
    Note: Click  12close.png  Remove to remove a tag from the campaign.
  4. Edit the rest of the campaign as desired and click Save Changes

Viewing Tags 

Once you have set a campaign tag, the tag will be displayed in the main campaigns page. 

To view campaign tags, do the following:

  1. Click Campaigns > Campaigns in the left toolbar.

  2. Locate the desired campaign and view the purple campaign tags.
