Copying Image Asset Links in Lead Gen & CRM

While you can host images on your website or on third-party image hosting sites, Constant Contact recommends uploading the image asset to the File Manager in Lead Gen & CRM so that all parts of the landing page are contained within the platform.

To copy an asset's hosted link in the File Manager, either upload a new image or locate an existing image

  1. Access the File Manager in many ways. One way is to click the navigation bar's + plus sign and select File Manager Item from the dropdown menu.

  2. Right-click the desired image and then click Open selection.

  3. Copy the Amazon Web Service (AWS) link in the browser's URL bar.

To insert the image asset link, create or edit a landing page:

  1. Click  12code.png  Edit Code in the left panel.
  2. Click the Page drop-down.

  4. Click HEAD in the top-right corner of the code window.
  5. Paste the following code at the top of the Head section:

    <meta property="og:image" content="[IMAGE LINK]">

Image link code in the code editor with placeholder value entered
  6. Replace [IMAGE LINK] with the previously copied AWS image link in the pasted code.
  7. Click Save or Save & Close
  8. Click Publish.

  9. If editing a previously published landing page, click Save & Publish.

Important: Lead Gen & CRM looks for the following Open Graph (OG) metadata properties when generating previews for social posts:

   •   og:title
   •   og:description
   •   og:image

Lead Gen & CRM does not pull in a meta description that does not meet these standards.
