Creating Rules-Based Lists of Explicitly Opted-In Contacts

Opting in is essential to modern digital marketing. As such, consider a list that shows all leads who have explicitly opted-in to receive communication.

This article will detail how to create a list of all leads who have explicitly opted-in to receive emails from your company.

Explicitly Opted-In

You can create a list of contacts who have explicitly opted-in to receive digital communications. To create a dynamic contact list, do the following:

  1. Click Lists in the left toolbar. 

    Click Lists in the left toolbar

     

  2. Click + Add New List to create a list, or click     Settings >    Change List Settings to edit a rules-based list.

    Click a list or edit an existing list

     

  3. Configure an initial rule or create an additional rule.

    Click Create a new rule

     

  4. Click the Lead category.
  5. Click is explicitly opted-in to receive email.

    Click Lead and then click Is Explicitly Opted-In

     

  6. Click any or all of the applicable checkboxes:

       •   Form Double Opt-In
       •   Custom Opt-In
       •   Import
       •   Opted-In Manually by User
       •   Informed Consent
  7. Click Save.

    Click Save
