Article: 000050347
Updated: October 6, 2023

There may come a time when you need to build a dynamic list that only includes leads that have clicked on a specified link from an email.

Once a person visits the webpage from the link in the email, they will be added to the list.

Building Lists

Rules-based lists will dynamically remove a member when the lead no longer meets the trigger criteria. This criterion can be set to when leads click links in emails.

Note: When building lists based on Site or Email Actions, the list may contain fewer members than the corresponding web or email report due to users with cookies or Javascript disabled.

To build a list based on a lead clicking a link in an email:

  1. Click Lists in the left toolbar.

  2. Create or edit a rules-based list.
  3. Configure an initial or additional rule.
  4. Click visits from the email, located under Email.

  7. Select the desired operator from the conditional drop-down menu.
  8. Optionally, if you have multiple links in the email, enter the link click that you would like to collect on this list in the Link click (optional) field.
    • Note: Use wildcard characters (**) when entering links in the (Optional) field.
