Add or remove tags from contacts on a list or in a segment

Select multiple contacts on a list or in a segment and manage the tags that are applied to them in a bulk action

Light Bulb IconDid you know? We're in the process of making improvements to our contact management experience and rolling them out to our customers. If your Lists table looks different, view this article for adding and removing tags from contacts instead.

 

Tags can be managed for individual contacts, but they can also be managed in bulk while viewing a specific list or segment.

  1. From the List View or Segment view page, select the contacts you want to tag.
  2. Click the Actions drop-down menu and select "Add tags" or "Remove tags."

  3. From the overlay: 
  • Add tags - Select a tag from the drop-down menu or start typing the name of a new tag to create it, then click the Add tags button. You can add multiple tags and create multiple tags too.

  • Remove tags - Select a tag from the drop-down menu, then click the Remove tags button. You can select multiple tags to remove.
