Clean up unused or unwanted lists and segments by permanently deleting them

Light Bulb IconDid you know? We're in the process of making improvements to our contact management experience and rolling them out to our customers. If your Lists table looks different, view this article for deleting lists instead.

If you can't rename a list or segment to reuse it, you can permanently delete them instead. Deleting a contact list or segment does not delete the contacts associated with them.

  1. In the menu on the left-hand side, click Contacts > Lists and segments.
  2. (Optional) Search for the list or segment you want to delete.
  3. Click the three dots next to the list or segment and click "Delete list."

Contacts menu expanded with Lists and segments option selected, Lists and segments page with Your lists table, Search field and List types drop-down menu options, and list with menu expanded and Delete list option selected

  4. Click the Delete list or Delete segment button to confirm the action.
