Rename a list or segment

Give a list or a segment a new name to make it more relevant or meaningful

The names of your lists and segments are important! The names you use give you an idea of which contacts are on your lists or segments and what kind of content you should be sending to them. Your list names are also visible on your sign-up forms and give your contacts a better idea of the content they'll receive when they join.

1. From the Lists and segments page, enter the name of the list or segment you want to rename into the Search field.
   Tip: If you have a large number of lists and segments, further narrow your search by selecting either Lists or Segments next to the Search field.
2. Click the three dots next to the list or segment and click the "Rename" option.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the new name into the List name field. There is a 255 character limit for both list and segment names. A name can't be used for more than one list or more than one segment, but a list and a segment can share the same name.
4. Click the Save button.
