Find a specific contact list or segment by searching for its name or by searching for a few characters in its name

Creating multiple lists can help you stay organized and keep your contacts segmented, but as the number of lists in your account increase over time, it can take time to scroll through your lists to find the one you're looking for. The good news is that it's pretty easy to find a list through search:

  1. Click Contacts > Lists and segments.
  2. (Optional) Choose Lists or Segments from the drop-down menu.

Contacts menu expanded with Lists and segments option selected, List and segments page with Your lists table and List types drop-down menu expanded

  3. Enter the list or filter name, or a letter or two contained within the name, into the Search field and hit "Enter." The search is flexible and looks for letters in the middle of words.
Note: To clear a search, just click the X in the Search field and all your lists display again.
  4. All the lists and segments that fit your search criteria display, and you can click on the list or segment to view the contacts, or click on the three dots on the right-hand side of the list or segment to:
  • Send an email to the list or segment.
  • Edit the criteria of a segment.
  • Change the list or segment's name.
  • Copy the list or segment. You have a chance to rename the copied list or segment, and you can also edit the segment criteria.
  • Add contacts who aren't already a part of the list to the selected list.
  • Delete the list or segment. Deleting the list or segment does not delete the contacts that are currently associated with it.
