HTML Elements in the New Email Editor

HTML elements allow you to use code for more complex email editing. Learn how to insert this element into your email. You can use inline CSS for styling.

This article will help you navigate the new email editor.

The New Email Editor

These HTML elements are available in the new email editor. The new email editor can be accessed by clicking on the Email Templates tab and choosing from one of the templates in the folder. Read Overview of the New Email Editor to learn more about the latest email editor and its available features. 

Note: To learn more about modifying HTML in the old email editor instead, read Viewing and Editing Email HTML in the Classic Editor. The old email editor can only be accessed by selecting one of your older email templates or email sends in the Emails tab and making a clone of that template or send. 

  1. Click on the Email Templates tab.
  2. Select the Designer or Simple template folders.

  3. Click the + button to create a new email from the template, using the new email editor.

The HTML Element

HTML elements give you more flexibility when modifying and building your emails. Inline CSS is necessary for styling.

  1. Drag an HTML element into your email.

  2. Click on your HTML element to open the Content Properties window to the right. 
  3. In the text editor, within the Content Properties window to the right, edit HTML as necessary.

The new editor focuses on rendering and ease of use. To edit HTML for the entire email, beyond single elements, navigate to the older editor and choose one of your existing emails or email templates. Read Viewing and Editing Email HTML for more information.
