Track the sales generated from your emails

See how your marketing and abandoned cart emails are driving sales in your ecommerce store

If you have a Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerceSquarespace, Wix, MagentoEtsy, or eBay store and promote your goods through Constant Contact, you can easily track the total sales and orders generated from your email campaigns and abandoned cart emails. 

When a contact opens one of your emails and makes a purchase within 72 hours, we attribute the sale to that campaign, even if the email doesn’t include an ecommerce action block.

 

Light Bulb IconTip: If you haven’t already, be sure to set up an automated abandoned cart email for your Shopify or WooCommerce customers to help recover lost sales!

 

To see your sales reporting:

  1. From the menu on the left, click Reporting.
  2. Click Ecommerce.
  3. (Optional) From the drop-down, select a date range to view your sales stats during that time.
  4. In the Overview section, you’ll see your:
  • Total Sales - The total revenue generated from your email efforts.
  • Total Orders - The total number of customer orders that resulted from your email efforts.
  • Total Opens - The total number of opens for your emails that generated orders. 
  • Conversion Rate - The percentage of email opens that resulted in orders.

  1. In the Trends section, you’ll see a breakdown of the orders and sales generated from your promotional emails and abandoned cart emails. Click View Details to drill down into the emails that resulted in sales.
