Understanding why the "New sign-on notification" email is sent from Constant Contact and what to do if you receive it

After logging in to your Constant Contact account, you may receive an email from us letting you know that we detected a new login from a device we didn’t recognize. This email notification is just an additional security measure we take to keep your account safe.

What triggers the email?

You could receive this email if you, or someone else in your organization who uses the account, logged in from a computer or mobile device that hasn’t been used to log in to your account before.

The notification could also be triggered if you:

  • Deleted your cookies or cleared your web browser's cache.
  • Logged in from a different web browser.
  • Accessed Constant Contact in an incognito or private browser window.

You only receive one email notification per instance.

What should I do if I receive the email?

If you recognize the login activity described in the email, no action is required.

If it wasn’t you, we recommend that you update your password and contact Support immediately.
