Average unique opens of your emails on mobile phones and tablets

It's increasingly popular for people to open email on a mobile phone or tablet. The open rate provided for each email is a combination of mobile and desktop opens for the life of the email, and you can see your opens by device on the Reporting tab.

The average mobile open rate is based on the number of times your contacts opened your emails on their smartphones and tablets during a specified period of time.

The desktop rate includes unique opens on standard desktop or laptop computers, as well as other devices that allow internet access, such as wearable devices (Apple Watch, Samsung Watch, etc.), game consoles (Xbox, Playstation, etc.) and set-top boxes (Google TV, Roku, etc.).

Depending on your email plan, you'll see the opens by device displayed a little differently on the Reporting tab:
