  • When previewing the Event basics step, you are previewing the landing page that we create (and activate) by default with every created event.
  • When previewing the Tickets, merch, and codes step, you preview the first step in the redesigned registration flow where registrants select their tickets and enter any promo or access codes.
  • When previewing the Form setup step, you are previewing the second step in the flow where registrants enter their contact information (which is also where their confirmation email will be sent) and any standard/custom fields you add.
  • When previewing the Payments step, you preview the last step in the flow where registrants pay for any paid tickets or items. This step is skipped when the event is free.

Redesigned event registration flow

When someone registers for your event, the checkout flow is now broken out into four simplified steps, instead of being condensed onto a single page. It’s been built with a mobile-first approach so that registrants can easily register for your events no matter what device they’re using.

First step: Ticket selection & code redemption

Add tickets and merch to the cart while redeeming any promo codes for discounts and/or access to hidden tickets.

Registration Flow First Step

Second step: Registration information

Fill out contact information and any additional information that the event host has requested.

Third step: Payment collection

When registering for paid tickets or items, collect payment using PayPal. This step is skipped when the event is free. More payment options coming soon!

Fourth step: Order confirmation page

Additionally, the Order confirmation email has been redesigned to provide registrants with a modern and styled confirmation receipt of their purchase. This also includes a link to their tickets that can be printed; QR code support for checking in tickets via the Constant Contact mobile app planned for the near future! Resend the order confirmation email at any time.

When a user clicks on an event displayed within the calendar, they will see a preview with the event name, description, date and time. From there, they can click the register button.
