Add an "Attend my events" HTML widget to your website

Article: 000053550
Updated: June 11, 2025

Add code to your website to allow visitors to see a list of your upcoming events

If you regularly hold events, you can promote them on your website by using the "Attend my events" HTML widget. When you add the widget code to your website's source code, it allows your website visitors to view a dynamic list of up to 20 of your upcoming events. Each event listing links directly to your event's landing page, if you're using one, or the event registration form, if no landing page is active for the event.

  1. Access the dashboard for an active event that you'd like included in the widget. At the top of the dashboard, switch the "Add this event to my calendar & widget" toggle on.

    Switch toggle on

  2. On the "Overview" tab, scroll to the "Event tools" section. Click the HTML Widget card.

  3. Enter a name for the widget that will display on your website above the list, such as "Upcoming events."
  4. Select the number of events you want to display in the widget.
  5. Choose the content you want to include for each event. You can display or hide the date and time, location, and description. You can also choose to link directly to your event registration page, instead of a landing page.
  6. Click Copy to copy the Widget source code.
  7. Click Close.

The widget’s source code can be pasted into the source code for your website. Your webmaster can add it for you, or if you’re using a website builder, you can contact their support to help you add it. Once the widget is installed on your website, going forward, simply switch on the "Add this event to my calendar & widget" toggle for an event to appear on your website.

If at any time, you'd like to remove an event from the widget, so that it doesn't appear on your website, you can switch the toggle on the dashboard off:
