Deleting Saved Views from the Opportunity Manager

Opportunities help keep your sales data organized. In the Opportunity Manager your opportunities will be presented in a table format. You can create a View consisting of columns and data sets. Learn how to delete views you no longer need.

The information displayed in the Opportunity Manager can be customized to suit your needs. You can save this information in individual viewable displays—or views, for short.

This article will explain how to delete views in the Opportunity Manager or set a new view as the default view.

Views and Searches

While the Opportunity Manager comes with a default view -- which displays information relevant to important system fields -- you may find that you want a different view that contains different information. Select the columns you want to display and save them as a view. 

Searches help to further segment the data in your Opportunity Manager. Create an Advanced Search, and filter by Created Date, Updated Date, Status, Assigned To, Stage, Value, and more! Select the data you want to filter in your Advanced search and save that search for future use.

Deleting Views

You can delete views you no longer need at any time.

To delete views, start from Sales > Opportunity Manager in the left toolbar.

  1. Click the  Drop Down Icon  View drop-down menu.
  2. Hover over the desired view and click  Edit Icon  Edit.

    Click Edit

     

  3. Click Delete View.

    Click Delete View

     



Setting Default Views

You can set a specific view to load when you open the Opportunity Manager.

To set a specific view as the default view, start from the Sales > Opportunity Manager in the left toolbar.

  1. Click the  Drop Down Menu Icon  View drop-down menu.
  2. Hover over the desired view and click  Eye Icon  Make this your default view.

    Click the icon to make the view default
