Information on prepaying for your account and what happens when you change plans or contact tiers

Prepaying for your Constant Contact account lets you save on the standard pricing of your email plan and add-ons. You can receive a 10% discount when you pay in advance for 6 months, or a 15% discount when you pay in advance for 12 months. If you’re a non-profit organization, you receive a 20% discount when you prepay for 6 months, or a 30% discount when you prepay for 12 months.

Prepayment and auto-renewal terms

Please visit our terms and conditions to review our full policy.

  • You can prepay via credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Amazon Pay.
  • No refunds are offered for prepayments, even if you cancel your account before the end of your 6- or 12-month term, except for our 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • The prepay discount applies to the email plan and add-ons.

Auto-renewal of prepayments

Your subscription automatically renews for the same email plan, contact tier, and add-ons that you ended your billing term with, and the payment method on file will be charged, unless you cancel before your renewal date. So, for example, if you chose a 12-month term with a 15% discount, you’ll be auto-renewed for another 12-month term at a 15% discount.

Managing plan changes

While your prepayment covers the cost of your selected plan and contact tier for the full 6- or 12-month duration, you can still make adjustments to your account.

Upgrades and add-ons

If you decide to upgrade your plan or purchase a new add-on service at any point during your 6- or 12-month term, we’ll issue a prorated invoice to cover the increased cost for the remainder of your current term, and your payment method on file will be automatically charged immediately. The new plan features or add-on functionality will be available in your account right away.

Contact tier increases

If your contact list grows beyond your current contact tier, we’ll issue a prorated invoice to cover the increased cost for the remainder of your current term. Your payment method on file will not be charged immediately. Instead, the payment will automatically process on your next monthly invoice date (the same day of the month as your original purchase).

Downgrades

If you decide to downgrade your email plan during your 6- or 12-month term, the lower rate and feature changes will take effect on your renewal date.

Cancellations and suspensions

If you decide you want to pause or cancel your account, it will remain active until the end of your current 6- or 12-month term. If you qualify for our 30-day money-back guarantee, your account will be cancelled immediately. Please note that prepayments are non-refundable, even if you cancel your account early, except for our 30-day money-back guarantee
