Edit your Lead Magnet survey questions

Make changes to the questions and answer choices on a Lead Magnet survey, and add additional questions, if desired

Lead Magnet surveys are generated with questions and answer options based on your entered prompt or selected template. You can edit the existing questions and answer options and/or add new questions at any time, even after you've shared the Lead Magnet and have begun collecting responses.

 

After making edits to your survey, you can always restore an older version of your Lead Magnet by going to the Tools page and selecting the Restore option.

Edit existing questions

 

Edit the questions and answer choices on a Lead Magnet survey at any time. All changes you make will be saved automatically and published on your Lead Magnet page as you make them. If you make edits to survey questions after sharing your form, responses to previously added questions will be preserved. 

 

  1. Click the Lead Magnets tab from the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Edit.



  3. Click Question Pages



  4. Select a question to modify. Update the question text as needed. 
  5. Make the following updates to each answer choice, as needed:
    • Add an image
    • Edit the answer text
    • Indicate which question should be presented next when this answer choice is selected
    • Delete the answer choice
  6. Click + Add answer choice to add another answer option, if desired.
  7. Click "Remove this question" to remove the question entirely from the survey, if desired.
  8. Click Save changes to save your edits to the question.




Add new questions

 

To add a new question to the survey:

 

  1. Within the Question Pages editor, click + Add Question.



  2. Enter a question to ask your leads within the survey. 
  3. Click + Add Answer Choice.



  4. Enter an answer option. Choose which step should be presented next when this answer choice is selected. 
  5. Click + Add Answer Choice again to add additional answers as necessary.
    Note: To remove an answer choice, click the Remove button.
  6. Click Save changes.
