Move a contact to a different list

Select multiple contacts on a list or in a segment and manage the lists that that they belong to in a bulk action

Light Bulb IconDid you know? We're in the process of making improvements to our contact management experience and rolling them out to our customers. If your Lists table looks different, view this article for moving contacts to different lists instead.

 

List assignments can be managed for individual contacts, but they can also be managed in bulk while viewing a specific list or segment.

  1. From the List View or Segment view page, select the contacts you want to manage.
  2. Click the Actions drop-down menu and select "Add to list" or "Remove from list."

  3. From the overlay: 
  • Add contacts to a list - Select a list from the drop-down menu or start typing the name of a list to create it, then click the Add button. You can select multiple lists to add your contacts to and create multiple new lists too.

  • Remove contacts from a list - Select a list from the drop-down menu, then click the Remove button. You can select multiple lists to remove contacts from at a time.
