Constant Contact's integration with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT syncs your contacts or 'constituents' with Constant Contact, making it easy to engage your supporters with targeted email, social, and SMS. Use donor insights from Blackbaud to segment your audience and send supporters relevant marketing messages.
Constituents in your Blackbaud RENXT account can have multiple email addresses, but please note that we can import one email address per constituent into Constant Contact and create a Contact record. Contacts and their details will be imported into Constant Contact. Any changes made to contacts within your Constant Contact account will not be synced back to Blackbaud RENXT. However, if a contact unsubscribes on the Constant Contact side, this will flow back to Blackbaud RENXT.
To connect your Blackbaud RENXT account to Constant Contact for data synchronization, first log in to your NXT account.










You'll then be directed to your Blackbaud integration dashboard, where you can view a list of all your imports, along with their status and details. When you create a new import, it will initially be listed as In Process.
Once the import is complete, the status will update to Success. 
The status and details of your contact imports can also be reviewed within the Contacts Import/Export Activity Log.
Once you've imported constituents, you can begin marketing to them. Easily track constituent email engagement directly in your Blackbaud RENXT account through the Constituent Engagement Add-In.
Once you've set up your import and your Blackbaud contacts are successfully syncing into Constant Contact, you can target them with customized messaging in various ways.
When importing from Blackbaud, you can choose which contact list you'd like to sync into a Constant Contact list. However, you may want to segment these contacts even further to send more specific, targeted messaging. You can create a custom segment of contacts.
