Add an outer border to your email template and customize the width, color, and style

Some email templates have a border around them by default. If the template you chose doesn’t have one, you can easily add one and customize its thickness, color, and style. If you have more than one section in your template, you can customize the borders for each one to make them stand out.

While editing your email:

  1. Click the Styles tab.
  2. In the Backgrounds & borders section, use the arrows to change the width of the Outer border. The border isn't visible until the thickness is at least 1 pixel.

  3. Click on the color swatch to choose a color for the outer border.

If you add your colors to the BrandKit within your account, they'll be easily accessible in the "Saved Colors" section of the color palette.

  5. Click to expand the Borders section and customize the:
  • Border style
  • Thickness for each side, independently
