Enable Managed and Referred clients’ accounts for each of our product types.

Once you start selling our various products, you need to enable your clients’ accounts. Below are steps to follow for both Managed and Referred accounts for each of our product types.

 


Lite, Standard, and Premium

For Managed Client Accounts:

  1. Log in to your personal Constant Contact account — the one given to you when you became our partner — and click the Accounts tab.
  2. Click the Accounts sub-tab.
  3. Click the blue Create Accounts button on the right side of the page.

  4. Choose who you want to receive the billing receipts, and then click Next.

  5. Fill out the requested Account Information, accept the terms, and then click Next.

  6. Fill out the requested Contact Information and then click Next.

  7. Choose the billing plan and click Create Account.

For Referred Client Accounts:

There are three different ways you can refer prospects to Constant Contact:

  1. Simply share your referral link to prospects. Your referral link can be found by logging in to your personal Constant Contact account — the one given to you when you became our partner. Click on the Accounts tab.
  2. Click the Home tab and then scroll down and copy the link toward the bottom of the page.
  3. Customize a sign-up page to choose which plans you want to highlight and if you want a “trial” and/or “buy now” experience.

  4. You can also add ?pn=yourpartnername to the end of any Constant Contact URL, so that all accounts opened up after visiting the URL are credited to your partnership. Your partner name is after “...?pn=” in your referral link. Here are some example links that you can co-brand:
  • Blog Article:
    https://blog.constantcontact.com?pn=yourpartnername
  • Knowledge Base Article:
    https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com?pn=yourpartnername

 

Add-ons

Your referred and managed clients have the option to use our add-on features at an additional charge. These add-ons include SMS, SEO, Inbox Preview, and Newsletter Archive.

For Managed Client Accounts (Single Billing)

  1. Log in to your personal Constant Contact account—the one given to you when you became our partner. Then go to the Accounts tab.
  2. Click the Home sub-tab.
  3. Click on the Managed Accounts tile.

  4. Click on the account you want to enable add-ons for.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and either activate (or deactivate) the add-on.
    Note: Newsletter Archive is included free in the Premium plan.

Exclamation Point IconImportant: For Single Billed accounts, after adding SMS, each child account is required to have a completed SMS registration for their organization.

 

For Managed Client Accounts (Non-SingleBill)

  1. Log in to your personal Constant Contact account—the one given to you when you became our partner. Then go to the Accounts tab.
  2. Click the Accounts sub-tab.
  3. Choose the account you want to enable an add-on for and click “Log in” on the right hand side. From there you purchase through the Constant Contact product’s interface.

For Referred Client Accounts:

  • When a referred client starts a Constant Contact account, they will see options inside that account to purchase the various add-ons.
