Surround an image with text in your email

Wrapping text around an image gives your readers a strong visual clue as to what your block of text is about. Having a good text-to-image ratio maximizes the effect - the more text the better. If the balance doesn't look quite right in your template, try adjusting the amount of text, changing the size of your image, or experimenting with different layouts.

To wrap text around an image, insert the image inside of a text block in your email:

1. Add a Text block to your template if there isn't one already. Use the guideline to help you place it in the right location.
   
   
    
2. Drag an image from the Images tab, or an image placeholder from the Build tab, into the text block. Use the pink box as a guide to position the image within the text block, on the right or left side of the text, and drop the image into place. There can only be one image in each text block.
   Note: If you see a pink guideline next to the text block instead of a pink box, the image creates a column instead.
   
   
    
3. Use the drag handle to decrease the size of the image to wrap the text around it. Decreasing the image size and adding more text to the block help make the text wrapping look more obvious.
   
   
    

Design tip: Trying to get one image for each paragraph in your email? Each paragraph needs to be in its own text block. To achieve your desired look, add multiple text blocks and stack them on top of each other, or sit them side-by-side in columns.
