Previewing an email and sending yourself a test version of your draft not only gives you a chance to proofread and make edits, but it also gives you an idea of what your email will look like to your contacts when you send the final version. You can send a test version to yourself, or to the people you trust to review your content for you.

Send a test email to yourself or to anyone you want to proofread your email before you send it out to your contacts.

Some features don't work in an email's preview or test version, including the Unsubscribe and Update Profile links in the email footer, personalization, dynamic content blocks, and dynamic links. Click segmentation is another feature that will not work with test or preview sends. If you want to test all features, copy your email and send the copy to yourself before sending the original to your contacts.
If you're unable to send a test email, or if you sent a test and can't find it in your inbox, there are a few courses of action you can take:
Once you've sent the test version of your email, you've proofread and made any necessary edits, it's time to send out the live version to your contacts. Send it out immediately, or schedule it to send at a set date and time in the future.
