Connect your BoldTrail account with Constant Contact

Set up a one-time or daily sync of your BoldTrail leads into Constant Contact

BoldTrail is an all-in-one AI-powered real estate technology platform, designed to help agents, teams, and brokerages generate leads, manage clients, and close deals. Activate and link Constant Contact to your BoldTrail account, then easily send campaigns to your contact lists with property listings of your choice. Select your desired template, edit the email design, and preview before sending your campaign.

The BoldTrail integration is a one-way sync from BoldTrail into Constant Contact. Only unsubscribes will sync back from Constant Contact into BoldTrail.

Connect your BoldTrail account to Constant Contact

Connect your BoldTrail account to your Constant Contact account to import contact, user profile, and transactional data. 

1. Click Integrations. 

2. Search for BoldTrail, then click the integration card. 
   
   
   
   

3. Click Connect. 
   
   
   
   

4. Enter the email address associated with your BoldTrail account in the Email field. 
   
   
   
   

5. In a new browser tab, go to your Boldtrail Account. 
   
   
   
   

6. Log in to your account. 
   
   

7. Select Lead Engine. 

8. Click on Lead Dropbox.
   
   

9. Scroll down in order to see the My API Tokens box. Copy the API token that fits your needs: 

   • Copy the Contacts, Users token to allow Constant Contact to pull, create, and update your contacts, and to pull your BoldTrail user profiles, emails, names, signatures, and websites.

   • Copy the Contacts token to allow Constant Contact to pull, create, and update your contacts only. 

   • Copy the Users token  to allow Constant Contact to pull your BoldTrail user profiles, emails, names, signatures, and websites only.  

   • Copy the All token to allow Constant Contact full access to your contacts, users, transactions, and account management.
     
     Note: If needed, generate new API tokens. 
     
     
     
     

10. Return to the integrations tab and paste your API key into the API Token field.

11. Click Connect. 
    
    
    
    
    

12. Click Import Contacts. 
    
    Note: If you encounter a 'We’re currently having some issues loading your BoldTrail field data' error, please wait a few minutes for the integration to finish processing, then return to the page to finish the import. 
    
    
    
    

13. Map the BoldTrail fields to your Constant Contact fields and click Continue. 
    
    
    
    

14. Select the BoldTrail list to import from. 
15. Select the Constant Contact list to import to. 
16. Choose how often the integration should sync between the two platforms. 
17. Click Continue.
    
    
    
    
18. Click the checkbox to confirm you have permission to send email to these contacts and click Import.
    
    
    
    

Once connected, you’re then brought back into Constant Contact and to the BoldTrail Integration dashboard, where you can review your imported leads.

Boost your marketing with the BoldTrail integration

Once your BoldTrail account is synced to Constant Contact, there are several ways to use the integration throughout your Constant Contact account:

• Create a customized contact segment - When importing contacts from BoldTrail, they will be synced into segmented lists for you. But perhaps you want to segment these contacts even further to send specific, targeted messaging. You can do so by creating a custom segment of contacts. 
• Create an automated Welcome Path - Create a Welcome Path. When your list syncs, newly added contacts are automatically sent an email or SMS message.
• Create an automated Anniversary Path - Send annual emails or SMS messages to your customers based on the date of their first visit to your business.   

Review email reporting

Our reporting shows you when your emails were sent to your BoldTrail contacts, and if they were opened or clicked, so you can see how they are impacting your recipients. Check out our article on email reporting, and learn best practices for marketing to your contacts.

Disconnect BoldTrail from your Constant Contact account

If you disconnect the BoldTrail integration, your imported contacts will remain in your Constant Contact account. New BoldTrail data will no longer be imported into Constant Contact, nor will unsubscribes be sent back from Constant Contact to BoldTrail: 

1. Click Integrations. 
2. Search for the BoldTrail integration, tap the three dots, and tap Disconnect.
