Partners: Email Journaling and Financial Archive

Article: 000053499

Receive copies of every standard email campaign that you send through Constant Contact for your archive records

If your organization must be compliant with things like FINRA, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA, GDPR, or any other state, federal, or international regulations that require you to maintain electronic records of the emails you send, we have an Email Journaling/Financial Archive feature available. It's designed to meet the compliance needs of the financial industry, and other industries, by helping you archive your email campaigns for regulatory purposes. Here's how it works:

  1. Contact our Partner Support team to enable the Email Journaling feature for your account or partnership.
  2. Provide an email address capable of receiving a high volume of emails, provided by a recognized service such as Smarsh.
  • If you're setting up email journaling for a partnership, your accounts can share one single journaling address, or be individually configured with separate archive addresses, as long as those addresses are equipped to handle the volume this feature requires.
  1. Every time you send a standard email campaign from your partner/parent account, or a child/client account sends a standard email campaign, we send a BCC (blind carbon copy) to the email address provided.
