We've partnered with Nift to help you capture new contacts and retain existing ones by giving you the ability to offer Nift gift cards to customers. What are the benefits of offering my customers a Nift gift card?

Boost your list growth by enticing new sign-ups with a $30 Nift gift card on a Lead Generation Landing Page. Rejuvenate and re-engage your existing customers by thanking them with a $30 Nift gift card in an email.

 

How does Nift work and what gifts will my customers be matched with?

Once your customer signs up for your mailing list, they will receive a thank you message and a gift code via email. Then they'll click on the button in the email and will be directed to the Nift gift code entry page where they can enter the gift code. Your customer will be offered categories that they can choose from (restaurants, boutiques, pilates. etc) and once the categories are selected, Nift will match the customer to the best two gift options that are available. The customer will then have 30 days to redeem the gift offering.

 

Can you send me a list of businesses that my customers will get matched with?

Nift works with more than 9K businesses that a consumer could potentially get matched with including brands like:

  • HelloFresh (meal plan)
  • Chewy.com (pet food & supply)
  • Bright Cellars (wine service)
  • Gaiam (yoga clothes and gear)
  • Local business options include: quick serve restaurants, cafes, boutiques, sit-down restaurants, gyms, bookstores, gift shops and more -- these options will populate under the gift categories if available in the customers location.
 

What is Nift doing with my customer’s information?

Constant Contact has partnered with Nift to provide its customers with the opportunity to offer thank you gifts to their email subscribers. In order to activate a Nift gift your customer will have to opt-in and enter your information into the Nift system. Later, that customer can share gift preferences with Nift as well as other information that will allow Nift to match your customer with the best gift. Nift takes privacy very seriously and does not share your customer’s information with anyone. You can read more in Nift’s Privacy Policy here.

 

Why would I send my customer to another business?

  • Your customer will enjoy a Nift gift to another non-competing business -- this is a great way for you to engage and thank your customers while capturing their contact information so that you can market to them.
  • For existing customers that are already subscribed to your email list, sending a Nift is a great way for you to engage with your customers especially considering most businesses were shut down or at reduced capacity for the past year due to Covid. Sending a free Nift gift is a great way to say “thank you” with personal messaging for their ongoing support.
 

Are there local gift options available?

Nift supports both 4-5 star online direct to consumer businesses and brick and mortar businesses. This means that a merchant's customer will always be matched with two great gift options that are based on their individual interests -- if local options are available, the customer will be offered them based upon the gift categories that they select.

 

Who’s getting charged for these gifts?

The Nift businesses we partner with, like HelloFresh, Chewy.com and Gaiam, cover the entire costs of the gifts. It will not cost the merchant anything to give gifts to its customers.

 

How often can I gift my customers with a Nift?

We suggest sending Nift gifts to existing customers four times per year. Merchants should continue gifting all new customers as soon as the customer signs-up for their email list.
