Import contacts from Mindbody into Constant Contact email lists

Our Mindbody integration lets you automatically sync contacts from Mindbody into your Constant Contact account. The integration imports each contact's birthday and the date of their first visit to your business, making it easier for you to send automated welcome, birthday, and anniversary emails. Your email lists update daily, ensuring you'll stay connected with all of your Mindbody customers.

Sync your Mindbody contacts

When you sync your Mindbody account, customers in the "Active" status are brought into your Constant Contact account. Customers become "Inactive" after 24 months with no visits. To sync contacts to the "First Visit" list, the contacts must be in a "Completed" status.

Important: To opt specific contacts out during the sync, make sure the "Email" option under "News and Promos" is unchecked. After the sync is complete, unsubscribe is a two-way process—contacts who unsubscribe through the footer of your Constant Contact emails automatically have the "Email" option deselected in your Mindbody account, and if you deselect the "Email" option, the contact is labeled as unsubscribed in your Constant Contact account.

1. Log in to your Mindbody site. Copy your site URL or take note of your Site ID, which is listed in the bottom-right corner of the Mindbody dashboard.
   Note: Make sure to log into your Mindbody account as the owner to complete the integration, otherwise you won't be brought through the correct connection steps.
   
   
    
2. In Constant Contact, click Integrations.
3. Under the "All Integrations" tab, either search for Mindbody or scroll through the list to locate it. Then, click on the block.
   
   
    
4. Click Get Started.
   
   
    
5. Click Open Mindbody. 
   
   
    
6. In the new tab, search for your Mindbody site. 
   
   
   
   
7. Then, select your site. 
   
   
   
   If you're already logged in, you don't need to search. Just click on the icon. 
   
   
    
8. Return to the Constant Contact tab and enter your Mindbody Site ID. 
9. Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
10. Click Connect Account. 
    
    
     
11. Click Activated!
    
    
     
12. Once your account is connected, you'll be brought to the Mindbody integration dashboard. Click on Lists to see the contact lists that were created. Click on the list name to see all the contacts.
    
    Note: Depending on the number of contacts, it could take up to an hour for this process to complete. 
    
    

Once your Mindbody contacts are added to your account, you can start sending them emails!

Boost your marketing with the Mindbody integration

Once your Mindbody account is synced to Constant Contact, there are several ways to use the integration throughout your Constant Contact account:

• Insert a Mindbody link into an email -  Allow your customers to book with ease by adding your Mindbody appointment link to a button in your email.
• Create a customized contact segment - When importing contacts from Mindbody, they will be synced into segmented lists for you. But perhaps you want to segment these contacts even further to send specific, targeted messaging. You can do so by creating a custom segment of contacts. 
• Create an automated Welcome Path - Create a Welcome Path and assign it to the "Mindbody - First visit" contact list. When this list syncs, newly added contacts are automatically sent an email or SMS message.
• Create an automated Birthday Path - Because Mindbody customers' birthdays are automatically imported into Constant Contact, you can easily send them an annual email or SMS message!
• Create an automated Anniversary Path - Send annual emails or SMS messages to your customers based on the date of their first visit to your business.
