Easily create a multi-channel campaign out of a single email, social post, or SMS

Quickly add channels to your marketing campaign and navigate between them to customize and schedule them, all from one place

When working on an email, social post, or SMS message, you can easily turn it into a multi-channel campaign to reach your audience wherever they are! Effortlessly add new channels to your campaign using AI recommendations, complete with branding, content, and images, and seamlessly switch between them to customize, schedule, and view the reporting for each one, all from one place.

Within the email, social post, or SMS editor:

  1. Click +Add more in the panel on the right to create something new to add to your campaign.

  2. We automatically recommend email, social post, and SMS message options with placeholder content. To get more personalized recommendations, enter a bit of information about what you want to share and click Create.

    Light Bulb IconTip: If you added your brand colors to the BrandKit in your account and created a template theme, your branding is automatically applied to some email templates! You can also easily access your saved colors when customizing the design of your email.
  3. (Optional) Click to deselect any channel type or social post network you don’t need.
  4. Use the arrows to scroll through the generated options.
  5. To add something to your campaign, hover over the thumbnail and click +Add. You can also choose to start from a blank template or use your own custom HTML code.

  6. Customize the content and design as needed. When you’re finished, click Continue. If you’re not ready to schedule it, simply ensure your changes are saved before navigating away from the editor, and your draft will be waiting for you when you are!

  7. Choose when you want to send or post.
  8. If it’s an email or SMS message, select the contact list(s) or segment you want to send to.
  9. If it’s an email, double check the sender details and advanced settings, and send a test for review.
  10. When you’re ready, click Send now or Schedule.

  11. It will display on the calendar on the scheduled date. If you want to reschedule it, you can click and drag it to a different date. The rescheduled date will populate in the Time & Audience section of the scheduler (shown in the step above), and you can click Schedule to confirm the change.
  12. (Optional) Click the menu and turn the toggle on to hide items not included in your multi-channel campaign.
  13. Repeat the steps to add more channels to your campaign and schedule them to share with your audience. From the Channel manager on the right, you’ll be able to see all of the individual emails, social posts, and SMS messages within your campaign, grouped by draft, scheduled, and published status. To switch between them, simply click on the thumbnail image or click the three dots for the one you want to view, edit, schedule, copy, or delete.

You can manage your multi-channel campaign by going to Marketing channels > Multi-channel campaigns or Campaigns > Multi-channel. Be sure to rename your campaign so that you can recognize it in your account later. Once your messages start deploying to your audience, you can also see the reporting for each one and keep track of how your overall campaign is performing.
