Some blocks entice your readers to take a specific action and provide you with reporting based on that action. When creating an email, you have access to a variety of blocks, and the specific ones available depend on whether you're building your email using the Third-Generation Editor or Cross Device Editor.

When copying an email that was created in our third-generation editor, it may be automatically updated to our new Cross Device Editor, giving you access to tons of exclusive and enhanced features! If your email has one of the blocks that isn’t available in our latest editor, be sure to review the content before sending it to your contacts.
The content from your Coupon block will be included in your copied email, however, the button will not be linked to your Coupon Landing Page. Instead, make sure to include the information for your coupon in the body of your email— such as if it’s for a dollar value, percentage off, or a discount code—and how your customers can redeem the coupon—such as entering the promo code at checkout on your website or presenting the email to the cashier at the register. Don’t forget to specify if there is an expiration date for the coupon or any other qualifications, like if a minimum purchase amount is required. Then make sure to add a link to the button or remove the button altogether.
The button from your Donation block will be included in your copied email, however, it will not be linked to your Donation Landing Page. Don’t forget to add the link for your website or wherever you collect donations, and include any information about your fundraiser in the body of the email to help entice your contacts to contribute. Consider maximizing your fundraising efforts by sending a series of emails to give your contacts multiple opportunities to donate!
The content from your EventBrite block will not be included in your copied email. Instead, you’ll see an empty Event block, which is connected to our amazing Event tool that lets you seamlessly create, share, and manage an event all from within Constant Contact! Alternatively, if you need to quickly send your email out for an event you’ve already created in EventBrite, you can copy and paste the link for your event into a button or text link, and remove the empty Event block. Include all of the event details in the body of the email as well before sending to your contacts, such as date, time, location, and description. Once sent, you’ll be able to track the link clicks in your email reporting and access the full reporting for your event from your EventBrite account.
The content from your SurveyMonkey block will be included in your copied email, as well as the link for your survey. Make sure the details for your survey are included in the email, such as when your contacts should complete the survey by, how long the survey is, why they should fill it out, etc. Once sent, you’ll be able to track the link clicks in your email reporting and access the full reporting for your survey from your SurveyMonkey account.
