What is included in Constant Contact's Prohibited Content Policy and accepted industries

At our sole discretion, Constant Contact reserves the right to prohibit the use of our service by any company or site that, among other things, provides, sells, or offers to sell products or content (or services related to the same) that violate our Prohibited Content Policy. For example:

  • Pornography, or illicitly pornographic sexual products.
  • Visual content that encourages or depicts child exploitation or abuse of children.
  • Escort services.
  • Cryptocurrency.
  • Illegal goods.
  • Illegal drugs.
  • Illegal drug contraband.
  • Pirated computer programs.
  • Instructions on how to assemble, or otherwise make, bombs, grenades, or other weapons.

To ensure the highest deliverability rates to our customers, Constant Contact also reserves the right to exclude specific industries from using our services.

During the course of a list review, your Customer Care Representative may assess your communication content to discuss specific elements that may cause spam complaints or poor general performance. In some cases, your communication release may be delayed until you can make the necessary changes designated to you by the Customer Care Representative. In the worst case, a communication or account may be terminated. This decision is at the discretion of the Constant Contact Compliance Team.
