Allow all the accounts in your team or partnership to send from the same DKIM-configured domain

Light Bulb IconNot a Partner? This article pertains specifically to our Teams and Partner customers. If you're looking for details on self authentication, please see our article for self-authenticating your emails using your own domain.

If you have your own domain, setting up self-authentication within Constant Contact allows you to continue sending email from your domain, stay in compliance with the latest authentication requirements, and build your own reputation on that domain. Self-authentication is also the only way for a domain to be DMARC aligned.

By default, self-authenticating your team or partnership's main account does not impact the authentication of accounts within your team/partnership. This means your accounts with various domains can configure their own authentication independently of each other. If all of your accounts are using the same domain, however, you might not want to publish a unique key for each account. By enabling Team/Partner DKIM, your team/partnership can use one key for all of its accounts.

In order to self-authenticate, you must have control over your own DNS records (this can be done by your IT department, or within your domain hosting settings). To get started, enable and configure self-authentication for your parent account, then check that the records are fully published, propagated, tested, and working as expected.

Please note that subaccounts are not able to self-manage their authentication settings with their individual account with partner DKIM enabled. The section will be entirely missing from their Advanced Settings page.
