Create a screen-reader friendly email with the Cross Device Editor

Use the Cross Device Editor to ensure that assistive technology can be used with your email campaign

Creating emails that can be read with assistive technology is an important part of ensuring that everyone can read and understand the content within your emails. Not only does this promote inclusivity, but it also helps boost engagement! By using the Cross Device Editor, you can make your email campaigns accessible to those with disabilities in a variety of ways.

Emails built with the Cross Device Editor allow screen readers—devices that assist people who are blind or visually impaired with reading text on a computer screen—to recognize and understand its blocks of text. Therefore, when you send out an email using a Cross Device email template, you can be sure that all of your contacts, including those who use screen readers, will be able to read it.

In addition, there are several things you can do on your own when creating emails, like using alt-text and appropriate color contrast, to help keep your campaigns accessible to readers!
