View the location of your clicks in the Email Heat Map

Get a visual representation of where your contacts are clicking in your email to better understand your link placement and help improve your email design

Knowing the location of your most-clicked links can help you design a better email! The heat map shows you all of the unique clicks on text links, buttons, clickable images, and social media icons throughout your email.

  1. Click Marketing channels > Email.
  2. (Optional) Click Status > Sent, and choose an option from the Sort By menu to help narrow your search.
  3. Next to your sent email, click . . . > Reporting.

  4. Click the Heat Map tab.
  5. Look for the highlighted areas to see all of the links that were clicked. The highlights tell you how many unique clicks the link got, and if you place your cursor over the highlight, it also shows you which URL was linked.

The next time you create an email, use the information you learned from the heat map to plan out your email design for more effective text links, buttons, and social icons.
