While using Ready Social, you may encounter errors such as:
- You are not able to connect the account with Ready Social.
- You may not be the admin of that Page or Group.
- You can't see all your Pages.
In these cases, simply reconnecting the account won’t resolve the issue. You will need to re-authorize the account with Ready Social to restore functionality.

How to Re-authorize your Facebook Account
There are different ways to re-authorize a Facebook account- one for a Facebook page and one for a Facebook group.
Facebook Page
Here is how you can re-authorize your Facebook account:
- Start by logging into your Facebook account.
- Click on this link: Facebook Business Tools Settings.
- Find Ready Social in your list of connected apps.

Select the checkbox next to Ready Social and click the Remove button.
⚠️ Leave the checkbox unticked to retain necessary data, then confirm by clicking Remove.
- Go back to Ready Social and navigate to Connect Account > Connect Facebook Pages.
- During the connection process, ensure that you accept all access permissions requested by Ready Social. Additionally, make sure that the App Visibility status is set to ‘Public/Friends’ rather than Only Me.
How to Re-authorize Your LinkedIn Account
If you encounter issues with LinkedIn on Ready Social, follow these steps to re-authorize your LinkedIn account:
- Go to your LinkedIn account and click on your profile image
- Click on Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu.
- In the left sidebar, click on Data Privacy and then go to Other Applications.
Remove Ready Social from Permitted Services:
- Under Permitted Services, locate Ready Social in the list of apps..
- Select Ready Social and click on the Remove button.
Reconnect LinkedIn to Ready Social:

Return to Ready Social, go to Manage Accounts, and click on the Reconnect button for your LinkedIn account.


How to Reauthorize Your Pinterest Account?
To reauthorize your Pinterest account with Ready Social, follow these steps:
- Start by logging into your Pinterest account.
- Click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner of Pinterest and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the left-hand menu, click on Apps.
- Find Ready Social in the list of authorized apps.
- Click on Revoke Access to remove Ready Social.
- Go back to Ready Social, navigate to Manage Account, and click on the Reconnect button.
During the connection process, ensure you accept all access permissions requested by Ready Social.
- If you have recently changed your Pinterest username, go to Ready Social and refresh your connection.
- If you have recently changed your Pinterest username, go to Ready Social and refresh your connection.
- Navigate to Manage Accounts > Edit Pinterest Board > Reconnect.
Reconnecting one of the boards will refresh the connection for all boards from that account. This ensures Ready Social maintains appropriate access to your Pinterest account, preventing any disruptions in scheduling and publishing.
If you need to re-authorize your Twitter account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Twitter account and Access Connected Apps.
- Click on this link: Twitter Connected Apps.
- On the right-hand side, you will find a list of apps you have allowed access to.
- Locate Ready Social in the list and revoke its access.

Return to Ready Social and reconnect your Twitter account. This will restore the connection, allowing you to manage your Twitter posts as before.
How to Reauthorize Your Bluesky Account
The scenario in which Ready Social requires reconnection or reauthentication for a Bluesky account occurs when the app password is deleted from the Bluesky profile. This will lead to disruption in the scheduling process.
To reconnect, follow the given steps.
- Click on Reconnect.

Bluesky reconnection modal appears. (same modal as account connection, only the handle field will be disabled)

Click on the app password generation link. This will redirect you to the Bluesky app password generation page.
Or you can go to the Bluesky web app, navigate to Settings >> Privacy & Security >> App passwords
- Click on Generate new app password.
- A modal will appear, asking you to name the app. Name the app Ready Social. Click on next.
- A new app password will appear on the screen (Note: This is a one-time view password)
- Copy the password and paste it into the reconnection modal.

The Bluesky account will be reconnected.
