If your posts are not publishing and end up in the 'Error' tab, it could be due to one of the following reasons. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Content Rejected by the Platform
Social platforms may reject your post due to policy violations or content that is not supported.
Fix: Go to the Error tab, edit the post to fix any issues, and then re-share or reschedule it.
2. Expired Authorization Token
Your account's authorization token might have expired, preventing Ready Social from publishing posts.
Fix: Reconnect your account with Ready Social. For Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, you may need to re-authorize your page to resolve the issue.
3. Violation of Platform Policies
The post may violate the terms and conditions of the specific social media platform, leading to publishing restrictions.
Fix: Review the platform’s guidelines and update your content to comply.
4. Duplicate Twitter Posts
Sharing the same post across multiple Twitter accounts can trigger errors.
Fix: Create unique variations of the post for each account.
5. Large Image Files
Certain platforms have limitations on image size and format.
Fix: Check the platform’s FAQ section for image guidelines, and resize or reformat your files accordingly.
6. Loss of Access to Groups or Pages
If your access to a configured Group or Page is revoked, your posts won’t publish.
Fix: Ensure you have admin or editor access to the Group/Page and reauthorize your account.
7. Instagram Rate Limit
Instagram enforces a rate limit of up to 25 posts in 24 hours for a single account.
Fix: Wait for the 24-hour window to reset before attempting to publish additional posts. Learn more.
