How to Create a Custom Report for Multiple Accounts

Here is how you can set up a custom report for one or multiple accounts:

  1. In your Ready Social dashboard, navigate to Analytics from the side menu.
  2. Click Reports to access the report creation and management options.

  3. Select Create Report to begin building a new report.

  4. A setup screen appears where you can:
  • Name Your Report: Give your report a title that reflects its purpose.

How to Add and Customize Report Elements

The custom report builder provides a range of widgets to display various data types. These widgets make it easy to create a visually organized and engaging report.

Date Selection

First and foremost, you must select the time period the report will cover. To customize the date range of the report, select the date drop-down below the Share button and choose the required option.

Here are the available options:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 15 days
  • Last 30 days (this option shows the data for the last 30 days)
  • Last 1 month (this option fetches the data for the last one whole calendar month)
  • Last 90 days (this option shows the data for the last 90 days)
  • Last 3 months (this option fetches the data for the last 3 calendar months)
  • Custom Date

Drag-and-Drop Metrics:

  • You will find blocks on the right side of the editing screen for various metrics such as Engagement, Reach, and Conversions.
  • To add a block, drag the block into the main report layout.
  • To arrange and resize, you can resize and move blocks to create a clear and organized layout.

Enhancing Reports With Additional Elements:

  • Title Blocks: Use these to add headings that organize your report into sections.
  • Image Blocks: Add images of top-performing posts to visually highlight specific achievements.
  • Text Blocks: Use text blocks to provide context, trend explanations, or campaign insights to provide a comprehensive view of your social strategy.
  • Add Your Logo: Include your logo at the top of the header for brand consistency.

How to Fine-Tune Your Report

To create a professional, client-ready report, Ready Social offers settings for further customization.

Change Settings:

Toggle Account Names: Choose whether to display the names of each account, which is helpful if you’re reporting on multiple profiles.

Enable Comparison Statistics: Display growth or performance comparisons to provide additional context for the data.

To Rearrange the Pages:

If your report grows lengthy, use the Pages tab to add additional pages, organize content, and maintain an easy-to-follow layout.

How to Preview, Export, and Share Your Report

Previewing the Report:

Click on Live Data to view the report as it will appear in the final PDF format. This will direct you to a separate tab where you can view all the analytics. This ensures that everything is aligned and formatted correctly before sharing.

Exporting and Sharing Reports as PDF:

  • Download as PDF: Save the report as a PDF for easy offline sharing or printing.
  • Schedule for Automated Sharing: Set up a recurring schedule to send the report automatically (e.g., weekly or monthly).
  • Email PDF: Enter the email address of any person, and they will receive a PDF copy of the report via email.

🗒️ Note: When you change your account language from Profile, your dashboard and all reports automatically display in the selected language. Any PDF you download or share by email is generated in that language, making it easy for global teams to read and collaborate.

Share Report Via Link:

Share via Link feature makes report sharing accessible to anyone. It allows users to send reports to any email address, regardless of whether the recipient is a client or has a Ready Social account. With this, recipients can view and download reports without needing to log in for seamless collaboration and communication.

Go to Settings and locate the Shareable Link option. Next, enter the email address of the person you want to share the report with, and then click 'Add' next to the email address field. If you attempt to add an invalid address, it will not be saved. Please ensure that you enter a valid email address.

Click Save to generate and send the report link to the specified email. You can also copy. Now, link recipients can view and download reports directly from the shared link, with no need for a Ready Social account.

How to Remove an Account from a Report

If you have created a report that includes analytics from multiple social media accounts, you can remove any of those accounts and their data while preserving the rest of the report.

  1. Go to the Reports page and open your report.
  2. Navigate to the menu bar on the right side and click on Manage.
  3. Now, uncheck the account or accounts you want to remove.

  4. Click Save, confirm your selection, and Save again.
