How to Add Subtitles to Video on Ready Social

Subtitles enhance the accessibility and reach of your video content by making it comprehensible to a broader audience, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, non-native speakers, and viewers in sound-sensitive environments. They also enhance engagement and SEO performance, resulting in increased viewer retention and improved search rankings.

Here is how you can add subtitles to a video from Ready Social.

1. Click on the Create Post button in the top menu
2. Click on the video icon to upload your video file.
3. Scroll down to the Video Subtitles section below the video upload area.

4. Click on the Add File button to upload your subtitle file. Ensure your subtitle file is in .srt format, as this is the only supported format.

   

5. After uploading the .srt file, select the language of the subtitles from the dropdown menu.

   

6. Choose a thumbnail for your video from the available options or upload a custom thumbnail.
7. Enter the video title and description in the respective fields.
8. Add any relevant tags, UTM parameters, or additional post settings as needed.
9. Preview your post to ensure everything looks correct.
10. Click "Save as Draft" or "Add to Queue" to schedule your post for publication.
