How to Connect a Bluesky Account to Ready Social

The process of connecting a Bluesky account to your Ready Social account is a little different from the way you connect your other social media accounts. We will guide you through the process in a few simple steps. 

Here we go:

  1. Go to Accounts in the main menu bar and choose Connect Account.
  2. Find Bluesky and click on “Connect profile.”

  3. Once the Bluesky connection modal opens up, add your handle to the relevant field.

    Note: Ensure you are logged into the Bluesky account you want to connect to your Ready Social account.

 

  1. You can generate the Bluesky App Password required to complete the connection in two ways.

    i) Generate the App password using the hyperlink in the modal.

    ii) Go to the Bluesky web app and navigate to Settings >> Privacy & Security >> App passwords >>Add App Password.

  2. Create a new app password and click Next to create a one-time password key.

    Note: We suggest using Ready Social as the app password to link the account to the Ready Social account.

  3. Copy your Bluesky-generated app password and paste it into the connect-account modal in the Ready Social web app. This password will only be visible to you for this single event.


  4. Click Connect, and you are done.
