Scheduling YouTube videos through Ready Social allows you to automate your video marketing strategy, ensuring consistent content delivery without the need for manual uploads. This saves time and helps you maintain a regular posting schedule, maximizing your reach and engagement on YouTube. Additionally, by using Ready Social, you can easily manage and optimize video content across multiple platforms from a single dashboard, making your overall social media management more efficient and streamlined.

Before you schedule a video, you need to connect your YouTube account. Click here to learn all about it.

  1. Go to the Create Post section in Ready Social.
  2. Switch the tab from Original draft to YouTube.

  3. Click on the Upload Video field and select your video from your local device or from cloud storage options, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Box.

  4. After the video upload is complete, you can always use the thumbnail you want to increase clicks. For that go to Edit Thumbnail.

🚨 Note: The Edit thumbnail option for YouTube is only available if you have a verified channel on the platform.

  1. Now you will find multiple options to upload a thumbnail. Upload the shot you think will best complement your uploaded video.

    • Upload from URL.
    • If your image is hosted online, paste the URL of the image into the designated field and click 'Upload'.
    • To upload a file from your computer, click on My Device, then navigate to the image file you wish to use and select it.
    • If your image is stored in a cloud storage service, click on the respective service icon. You will need to log in to your account (if not already connected) and select the image you want to use as a thumbnail.

  2. After the thumbnail is uploaded, click Save Thumbnail. Use the Post Preview feature to see the thumbnail preview for visual confirmation before scheduling. Your thumbnail is now ready to be published/scheduled.

📋 Note: Customized thumbnails are available only for verified YouTube channels. To learn more about verifying your YouTube channel, click here.
