Ready Social enables you to efficiently manage Instagram Direct Messages (DMs) and Story Mentions for your Business profiles, streamlining communication and making it easily accessible within one platform. There are two ways to enable message access of Instagram from Ready Social - Enable Message Access from Instagram or enable Instagram DMs via Facebook Business Suite.
Follow the steps below to know how to enable message access on Instagram via Ready Social:
Toggle on Allow access to Message.
Once this is enabled, Ready Social will retrieve your Instagram DMs and Story Mentions from this specific profile.
If you want an alternative method or you manage multiple Instagram profiles via Facebook, you can enable DM access through Facebook Business Suite. This method also works if you are facing issues with Instagram settings.
Here is how you can enable Instagram DMs via Facebook Business Suite:
From the Facebook Page associated with your Instagram, go to Facebook Business Suite.
Under Facebook Business Suite, you will see a warning message. Click on Get Started.
You will be asked to grant the permissions. Proceed by clicking on the Confirm button. Ready Social needs these permissions to be able to retrieve Instagram DMs for your profile.
Next, it will redirect you over to Instagram, where you need to provide the associated Instagram ID and Password for authentication. Once you have entered the relevant credentials, click on Log In to complete the process.
And you're done! You will get the successful message shown below:
📋 Note: Facebook Business Suite is useful for managing multiple profiles, but make sure you follow the instructions carefully to avoid linking the wrong Instagram profile.
