Enable Trusted Sites and JavaScript

How to enable JavaScript for Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox web browsers

The Constant Contact site requires that JavaScript be enabled in your browser. Depending on your browser, you can either make Constant Contact a Trusted Site or enable JavaScript. Information on how to do this in supported Internet browsers is provided below. 

 

 

Exclamation Point IconImportant: Another possible reason for problems accessing the Constant Contact site is that your firewall doesn't allow any JavaScript commands to be passed (JavaScript is used to create pop-up windows). If this is the case, then you will need to ask your Network Administrator to enable JavaScript for www.constantcontact.com.

 


Apple Safari

  1. Navigate to https://www.constantcontact.com.
  2. At the top of the screen, click Safari.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Settings
  4. In the Settings pop-up, click Security
  5. Check the "Enable JavaScript" box. 
  6. Close the Settings pop-up.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three vertical dots at the top right-hand corner of the browser.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site Settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. In the Default Behavior section, make sure the "Sites can use Javascript" option is selected.
  7. Click Add to the right of "Allowed to use Javascript."
  8. In the "Site" field, type "https://www.constantcontact.com".
  9. Click Add.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three horizontal dots at the top-right corner of the browser. 
  2. From the dropdown menu, click Settings.
  3. Click Privacy, search, and services
  4. Click Site permissions
  5. Click All permissions
  6. Click JavaScript
  7. Ensure the toggle for "Allowed (recommended) is turned to the ON position.

Mozilla Firefox

By default, Firefox enables the use of JavaScript and requires no additional installation. If you are experiencing any problems on the Constant Contact website, using the Firefox browser, you can add Constant Contact to your trusted sites list. 

  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Privacy and Security.
  3. Click on Manage Exceptions.
  4. Type in "https://www.constantcontact.com" in the "Address of website" field.
  5. Click Allow.
  6. Click Save Changes.
