| Important: This article covers removing a Constant Contact app from an Instagram account that was directly synced with Constant Contact. If your Instagram account is managed through your Meta business account, follow the steps for removing an app from Facebook instead. |
After you disconnect Instagram from your Constant Contact account, it's also a good idea to disconnect Constant Contact from your Instagram account. This ensures that you are prompted to log into Instagram and grant permission before you can use social posts again.
If you want to use Facebook and Instagram Ads and Lead Ads, disconnecting your standalone Instagram account lets you connect to a Facebook account with an Instagram account that's managed through the Meta Business Suite.

For more information about disconnecting an app from Instagram, please see Instagram's support.
