Promote your event through an email by inserting an Event block

While you can easily create an invitation email from your Event dashboard after creating an event, you can also promote your event in any email you create with the Cross Device Editor by inserting an Event block.

While editing your email:

  1. Drag-and-drop, or click-and-stick, the Event block into your template, using the pink line as a guide.

  2. Click on the block to open the Event Settings panel.
  3. Select the event you want to promote, or use the drop-down to search if you have multiple events.

  4. Insert any additional synced or standard blocks into the Event block in your template. For synced blocks, the event details are automatically pulled into your email based on what you entered when creating your event. To update the content within a synced block, edit that piece of information within the Event editor. You can rearrange the blocks within the Event block as you like.
  5. (Optional) To remove a piece of information, click on the block and then click the trash can icon in the toolbar.

When you’re finished, simply click outside of the Event block to continue customizing the rest of your email.

After you send your email, contacts who click on the button within the Event block will be taken to your event landing page where they can register to attend. You’ll be able to track these registrations from your Event dashboard.
