Create a text link on your website and insert the URL for your Sign-up Landing Page

Exclamation Point IconImportant: We prevent Sign-up Landing Pages from being embedded on a website to prevent "clickjacking," where a bad actor can make it look like you're clicking on the opt-in button but in fact they've layered another invisible button over the top to lead you somewhere else. If you want to embed a sign-up form on your website, use our website sign-up forms instead.

When you want to collect sign-ups through your webpage, we have a few different kinds of website sign-up forms that are embedded in the source code for your website. But what if you need something that's a little quicker, and not as scary as working in the code? We've got you covered with our Sign-up Landing Pages! The URL for the Sign-up Landing Page can be used to quickly create a text link on any webpage, and the landing page lets you collect both email and SMS contacts too.

Design tip: You can create more than one Sign-up Landing Page, and each one can be assigned to a specific list. If you want to segment your contacts based on the location of your website where they signed up for your list, create a unique landing page for each location!

Best places to link your Sign-up Landing Page

You can put a link to your Sign-up Landing Page anywhere on your website, but these locations have high impact:

  • Website footer - Your footer is visible on every page! It's a great place to add your sign-up form because it's consistent and highly visible. A simple "Join our mailing list" link will do it.
  • "Contact Us" page - Communication is a two-way street. Your "contact us" page is a great place for a link that says, "Stay in touch! Sign-up for our communications."
  • Blog page - If your webpage has a blog, add a link that says something like, "Never miss a post, sign-up for our newsletter!"
  • "What's new" page - When you highlight your most current offerings or events, having a "Be the first to know - join our mailing list" link can spark curiosity and drive engagement.
  • Newsletter archive - If you have a dedicated place on your website where you link to a list of previous emails that you've sent, you should feature a prominent "Stay informed - join our mailing list" link nearby.

Beyond this list, the locations are best determined by what you're offering through your website and what you offer in your email and SMS marketing content. For example:

  • Ecommerce - Do you send emails about your products? Make sure there's a way to sign up for you list from your product pages.
  • Non-profit - Do you send emails about the fundraisers or events you're hosting? Make sure there's a way to join your list to get information about your upcoming activities from your calendar page.
  • Real estate - Do you send emails to highlight your most current listings? Make sure there's a way for your prospects to sign up to automatically get your latest listing information.
