You may encounter these error messages when connecting or reconnecting an additional social media account to Constant Contact.

This issue often happens when you use multiple accounts on the same platform. This article will explain why these errors occur and provide three simple solutions to resolve it.
When you log into a social media site like Facebook or X (formerly Twitter), your web browser saves that login session to keep you signed in. If you then try to connect a different account from that same platform to Constant Contact, your browser may try to use the already-logged-in account, causing a connection conflict or error.
This is the most common and immediate solution. By logging out of the social media platform completely, you allow Constant Contact to establish a fresh connection with the correct account.
If you need to stay logged into multiple social accounts at the same time, this is the best method. An incognito or private browser window does not share login information with your main browser session.
Alternatively, you can use two different web browsers (for example, Chrome for one social account and Firefox for the other). Keep your Constant Contact account open in the same browser as the social media profile you'd like to connect.
For a more permanent solution, you can prevent your browser from automatically saving your login information for social media sites. This will ensure you are always prompted to log in, preventing conflicts. However, it means you will have to enter your password more often manually.
You can find instructions for managing saved passwords in your browser's settings:
