Create a Social Post from the Constant Contact mobile app

Create a social post in the Constant Contact mobile app and post it to Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.


Connect your social accounts in the mobile app

    Connect social accounts on iOS

    1. In the app, tap on Account.

    2. Tap on Social Accounts



    3. Tap + Add Account



    4. Select the social media platform you’d like to connect.



    5. Log into your account.




    6. Select the pages or various accounts that you’d like to connect. 

      Note: Many social media platforms allow you to have multiple pages or accounts under the same login. With Constant Contact, you can manage posts for all of these pages or accounts.

    Connect social accounts on Android

    1. On Android, tap the Menu iconMenu icon, then tap Settings.




    2. From there, tap Connect under Social Accounts.



    3. Tap Accounts



    4. Select the social media platform you’d like to connect. 



    5. Log in to your account. 



    6. Select the pages or various accounts that you’d like to connect.

      Note: Many social media platforms allow you to have multiple pages or accounts under the same login. With Constant Contact, you can manage posts for all of these pages or accounts.

     

    Create a Social Post

    1. Tap the + Add icon. 

      1. On iOS, tap the + Add button in the middle of the floating menu at the bottom of the screen. 



      2. On Android, tap the + Add button in the top right corner of the screen.



    2. Select Create Social Post



    3. Choose the Social Platform you'd like to post to.



    4. Type your post. Consider the following requirements for your post, based on the platform:

      Facebook

      Instagram

      LinkedIn

      Character limit of 63,206.
      30 images max

      Character limit of 2,200.
      20 images maximum

      Character limit of 1,300.
      20 images max



    5. Tap the Image icon.



    6. Select images to include in your post. Choose from your Constant Contact Media Library or your phone’s Camera Roll, take a photo, or choose to use the Image Playground to generate an image using Apple Intelligence.

      Note: Apple Intelligence’s Image Playground generates AI images and is only available on compatible iOS devices. Image Playground is not available on Android devices. Read our “How to use Apple Intelligence” article to learn more.



    1. When content and images have been added, you can use the eye icon in the top right corner of the screen to preview your post and see how it will look once published to the social platform. 

    2. Click Continue once you have finished drafting your post. 



    3. Click the social media page or account you’d like to post to.

      Note: Many social media platforms allow you to have multiple pages or accounts under the same login. With Constant Contact, you can manage posts for all of these pages or accounts. 

     

    Using Apple Intelligence in your Social Posts (Writing Tools & Image Playground)

    On compatible iOS devices, the Constant Contact app connects directly to Apple Intelligence to leverage new Writing Tools and the Apple Intelligence Image Playground – helping you find just the right words virtually everywhere you write, and create beautiful images instantly. 

    Note: Apple Intelligence is compatible with any iPhone 16 model, the iPhone 15 Pro, or the iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as any iPad with A17 Pro or M1. Devices must be running iOS 18.1 or later, or iPadOS 18.1 or later. Finally, your device must have 7 GB of storage space available.

     

    Share links in your Sent campaigns

    Once an email has been sent to a contact list segment, you’ll be able to share a link on your social media accounts. This will allow your social followers to view the email as if they’ve received it in their inbox, helping you expand the reach of your offers or notifications.

    View reporting for a Social Post

    1. Tap on Campaigns.
      1. On Android, tap on the Menu icon Menu icon  then tap Campaigns

      2. On iOS, tap Campaigns from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen. 



         
    2. (Optional) Tap Status > Posted at the top of the screen.

    3. Scroll through to view total impressions, reach, and engagement for each social post campaign.
    • Impressions - This is the number of times someone has seen your post. Each time an individual sees your post, it's counted as an impression.
    • Reach - This is the total number of unique people who have seen your post. It includes your audience and anyone they've shared it with.
    • Engagements - The number of times someone actively engaged with your post, by either liking the post, commenting on it, or sharing it.

    Remove a connected social account

    1. Go to Social Accounts
      1. On Android, tap the Menu icon Menu icon then tap Settings.

        From there, tap Social accounts.

      2. On iOS, tap Account from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, then select Social Accounts


         
    2. (Optional) Tap the Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn tab at the top of the screen, depending on which type of account you want to remove.
    3. Tap Remove to the right of the social account you want to disconnect.
