When you disconnect a social media account or profile, it prevents you from sharing Social Posts to it, but you can still create social post drafts. Disconnecting a Facebook or Instagram account also prevents you from activating Facebook Ads or Lead Ads.

Disconnected a social media account removes it and all of the associated profile pages from your Constant Contact account.
When you're ready to use Social Posts and Monitoring, or Facebook Ads and Lead Ads again, you're be prompted to log back into your Facebook or LinkedIn account to reestablish the connection, or you can link to a different account altogether.

Removing a social profile doesn't disconnect the whole account, it just removes the Facebook Page, Instagram Business Profile, or LinkedIn Organization Page that's associated with your account. You can always connect the profile again later, or, if you have multiple profiles associated with one account, choose a new profile to connect.
If you change your mind later, you can click the Add Profile button and select your profile from the menu to reconnect it.
